Interview with maike Dannecker - Employee order management at Haug Electronic Solutions
F.: Hello Maike, you're relatively new to Haug. How was your start and what is your impression from the first few weeks?
My start in december began right on the second day with a big christmas party. The evening was fun and it helped me a lot to settle in and get to know my colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere. I already have the feeling that I've been part of the team for a long time. I've also gotten to grips with the topics professionally. My colleagues help me with the few questions and ambiguities. However, initiative is also required. But I think that's reasonable and positive.
F.: How did you find out about the position in order management?
Through my ex-colleague who I worked with 1.5 years before. We kept in touch after he moved and I told him I was looking for a new challenge. He made contact, then it went quickly.
F.: Sounds like a success story. What does a typical daily routine look like?
After arriving in the office, I first get an overview and prioritize my tasks. I work through the most urgent issues as quickly as possible, so that I then have a little more breathing room. As the interface to the customer, my tasks begin with obtaining delivery dates and end with the delivery of the ordered goods. In between there are many exciting things to do.
F.: I'm glad. Do you have a direct influence on customer satisfaction and thus on follow-up orders?
The customer is satisfied when we work reliably and take care of his issues seriously. If a delivery date cannot be met, I will address this directly. Conversely, I will contact you if goods can be called up earlier at short notice. I have learned that open, polite communication is the key to a good customer relationship.
F.: Do you have the freedom to develop your own ideas and implement them at the managing director?
In any case. Thanks to our flat hierarchies and a direct line, every employee can contribute their own ideas. For example, I am currently working on improving the framework contract structure and am hoping for a more transparent, more efficient solution.
F.: What would you recommend as a #MotivationMonday tip to all monday grouches?
Don't see Monday negatively but as a new start to a nice week.
